Painful Pleasures always honors its contract. This is a story of a woman's descent into masochism, and how it effects others in her circle. |

The other reviewers feel as I do; this is a good start. What about the brother? Who are the other two and what is happening to them? We've got just a short time here; looking for an expansion to the story (7/10)

Fairly standard fare... a good start. The thing that makes this story interesting to me is the sort of slightly disjointed or episodic writing style which actually adds a sort of intensity to it. (7/10)

What there is of this story suits this reviewer fine. Jessica and her brother seem to have met their match and their predicament has tremendous potential. The writing is more than adequate, the author does a good job of setting the mood, and there is just enough heat to make things interesting. Hopefully this is not just another unfinished story; that would be almost as cruel as the things happening to our helpless siblings. This rating assumes that more of this story will be shortly forthcoming, and it will be modified to fit what develops further. (7/10)

- Thank you for the positive review. I had originally intended to continue on this storyline if I felt it was good enough to warrant it. I will probably write another section to it. I am not sure it will be "shortly forthcoming," since this does mark a departure from my normal writing style and I tend to be considerably slower than other writers. This is also my first story that has more than one part to it, so it will take a while before I can craft just what I want to say in part two. All this aside, and considering I am an average to poor writer at best, means it may take some time, but this is a work in progress and I do thank you for the positive inspiration here!

This What Is Good For The Gander Is Good For The....tale is mostly posted in bold, large letters which may help the seeing-challenged, but can distract other readers. The story is mostly standard fare with delightful twists that no doubt will be of interest. (6/10)

- It is nice to know that I can still pluck a bad review as always. I did not post this in large letters or bold. If this is the outcome maybe the transition made it that way or it is your browser. Sorry my story was such a distraction to you, but if it only 'helps' the "seeing-challenged" then maybe I should post it even larger next time, but don't strain your eyes on my account, just try reading a better writer who can adjust the lettering to perfectly fit YOUR eyesite, since that is all that matters. Goodluck in finding a better story!
