I don't think I have the words to properly express what a fantastic story this is- and what can I say that hasn't already been said here? Grammar and spelling were fine, but it was told with so much warmth and eloquence that the mundane things become secondary anyway. I had to steel myself to read through the first parts, but I'm so glad I did. Even if you dislike violence, this story is well worth the read, because it isn't gratuitous violence. The stark contrast of the later chapters often had me in tears, to be quite honest. The characters are real, not automatons or puppets of the author. It's impossible not to relate to them, to celebrate the victories and to feel the depths of emotions they feel in each stage of the story. If you are worried because of the darkness and the depressing nature of the early chapters, please stick it out, because the end is supremely uplifting. (10/10)

WOW!! What a compelling and visionary story. You have set in words the epitome of a BDSM relationship. The love, trust and respect that should flow in both directions. With great character development and and the right amount of detail to bring the story alive. It is a shining example of how to do it (writing and BDSM) right. Thanks. (10/10)

- That's what I was trying to do. Show the extremes between people who don't truly understand what D/s is...and the people who do. Love, trust, and respect should be a part of every intimate D/s relationship; if it isn't the relationship is nothing more than glorified abuse. Having had my own near-fatal brush with a dom-wanna-be like Chris and Rob, I can perhaps understand that distinction better than some.

My God, woman! What a powerful, sexy story. I grew to hate the antagonists, and wondered if the heroine would ever escape her awful fate. Master Simon rode in on his steed and truly saved her from a fate worse than death.
Clearly defined, excellently developed characters and flowing actions make me glad I kept coming back for more. Master Simon, with whom I can identify (just a little: I hope to achieve his level of love some day with my partner), demonstrated the strength of the honest and true d/s life. A shared discipline, with the needs of both taken care of as appropriate, and with control on the part of both as required. This story should be in the guide to D/S I keep seeing at Amazon. A truly powerful story, full of honest affection. You are gifted! (10/10)

- Umm...what can I say to such glowing praise? 'Thank You' seems inadequate.
I've been reading stories on this site and responding to messages in the Forums for a while now, but there's a sad lack of stories on here that truly define what D/s is. Most of the stories on here focus on the physical aspect of a D/s relationship; or are true fantasy, like dragons eating people. While the story might be good, it's not realistic. I wanted to explore the minds and hearts and motivations that power a relationship like this. Because, after all, the motivations and emotions are the reason we all are interested in D/s. And apparently I did a good job, since it's now available in ebook format from www.bdsmbooks.com. Thank you for reading, for reviewing (and for the high rating)!

Master Simon is the kind of Master I wished i had when i first began to take an interest in submission, but after a traumatic experience I left too afraid to try again. Not a bad start, but the number of spelling and grammer errors detracted from the story. I do look forward to reading future chapters.
Okay, Chapter 4 was just read, and I have to tell you, the hell with what I said about spelling and grammar...very minor issues here. A wonderful plot, and I'm always a sucker for a happy ending (though it hasn't ended yet...I hope!) (9/10)

Wonderful story. i am glued, and waiting for more updates. Being the romantic that i am, the fact that there is a better life waiting for 'little one' is the high point for me. It will be interesting to see how she comes to terms with the kindness after the cruelty, and i do sincerely hope that so-called Masters Rob & Chris get their's in the end. Quite literally in the 'end' i hope!! (9/10)

Disturbing, erotic, brilliant. An interesting vignette. The writer sketches out just enough detail, without talking it to death. I will be watching her further writings wiyh interest. (8/10)
