I really like this story. Joanna knows how to construct a narrative, building on two separate but related strands which ultimately must coincide. I have to disagree with the reviewers who think it's too slow or it contains too many "non-erotic" words; weaving a plot and properly introducing characters can't be done in a few short paragraphs. Too many stories on this site take the short "wham bang, thank you mam" option but fail to really engage the reader. I hope this story builds on its initial promise and realises its full potential as a proper bdsm novel. Keep up the good work. (10/10)

As someone knowing nothing about polo, parts of the story opened a new appreciation of the sport for me.
But this isn't a sports site, it's about eroticism. Helping your reader get a firm base as to the victim's mind set and personality is all well and good, but as an erotic story, it drags a lot. The POV shifts happen too soon in the erotic part, and too rarely in the sports section. It's a good story, and I'm anxious to see where it goes, but try to make it march a little faster. (8/10)

This is shaping up to be a delightful little story. I am certainly hoping to see more added in the near future. The author has a nice usage of language. (9/10)

There is one great aspect to this story. That is what Tara herself is thinking as she goes through her ordeal. She suffers, and she also has a bit of a sense of humour left to her. Well done, girl! Stay with it. This will give the opportunity for great dramatic contrast later. There are however two poor aspects.
One is the large number of words which are not erotic. They may 'set the scene' all right but they are not particularly exciting if what one looks for is eroticism and sensusality. Condense. Remember the minimum limit round here is 10,000 letters.
The second is the 'mechanical instruction manual' approach. It is easy to be precise. It is much much more difficult to be able to convey the feeling without having recourse to precision.
That said, I am enjoying it. Shelly is a hard bitch to please. I look forward to lots more.
