Was utterly charmed by this tale with a reflective twist. Or a twisted reflection. Must also agree with Michael about the formatting and the switching in point of view and some such -although I'm pretty sure the formatting isn't obohobo's doing but a perpetual glitch of the site. Was pulled into "Satanic Mirror..." thanks to a second part which has been posted separately. That's where I'm going now. Through the looking-glass... JJ (8/10)

What a phenomenal plot concept! * I want to start of this review by offering my extreme appreciation of obohobo’s incredible plot device with the mirror. What an amazing way to bring the fantasy world to a wide variety of characters, offering a wide scope of available fantasies. It’s a fantastic device, on par with the transport beams of Star Trek, enabling characters to rapidly move from scene to scene without having to worry about long travel or explanation of how they got there. This was truly brilliant. * Unfortunately my primary complaint is the formatting. I’m not sure if the author originally placed tab indentations to differentiate between paragraphs, but the html coding of the browser eliminated it. For all submitted works I highly recommend using an “enter” key between paragraphs. It will place an actual empty line between paragraphs and provide the reader with the necessary visual clues to keep from mentally imploding. * I’m not positive if it was the formatting, or the writing, but I frequently got confused. At one point the POV changed and I thought Diane was talking about when she was a lad. I had to go back and re-read for a moment and then read ahead, to realize it was Bairnes. That sort of delineation needs to be much more apparent and some sort of means to inform the reader should be included. I hate being confused while I read. * Once again, due to the formatting issues, I can’t tell you if there was any serious sexual tension. The sex scenes were rather short, with only minimum description, with seemingly more effort being spent on the emotional effects the mirror was having on Diane and Bairnes, than on the sexual events taking place IN the mirror. Not that this is a bad thing, especially if more chapters of this story are forthcoming, and if closer inspection of the mirror’s images give the reader deeper and more sexual events to peruse. * All in all, this is an amazing creative endeavor and I hope that the author utilizes this concept to the fullest. * Yours Faithfully, Michael Alexander (www.michaelalexanderstories.com) (7/10)
